The apartment is beautiful, everything that one needs for a self catering experience; it was clean and well stocked to cook “at home”.

The location was in the Centro velho, close to everything. For us, a little too close to the bars that are noisy every weekend.

Susana was wonderful, really helpful whenever we needed to ask anything.

It was such a pleasant surprise that cleaning was done once a week.

Thank you for a wonderful month in Funchal.

Bairro
This is the Centro Velho (Old Town) in Funchal. You will have everything within a few meters of your door…bakeries, mini supermarkets, etc…

However, if you are noise sensitive, this may not be the place for you.

I stayed in this apartment for over 6 months and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Miguel was a wonderful landlord – very compassionate, responsive, and kind. He really made me feel like I was at home in Madeira. The new owners are also wonderful and Miguel made sure that there was a smooth transition. Overall, a great experience.

Die Wohnung ist super zentral gelegen, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Der Vermieter war immer ansprechbar und hat sich bei Fragen und kleineren Problemen sofort gekümmert.

This apartment is wonderful and the location in the midst of the old town just perfect. Communication with Miguel was easy, friendly and supportive. The only thing to be aware of is that there is currently a construction site across the street, so during the day it‘s sometimes noisy. On Sundays, public holidays and during their break times it was bliss. :-)

The flat was very clean and neat. It was regularly cleaned while my stay. Excellent location as well.

Everthing was great, I can only recommend both the owner and the place.

It is in the center of Funchal old town with easy access to beach restaurants, supermarket and central bus station. All within maximum 10 minutes.
