Es cierto que da seguridad a la hora de realizar los pagos y hablar con los propietarios, si quieres ir a lo seguro y tienes dinero, es un buen acierto. Pero si tienes tiempo te recomendaría mirar en grupos de Facebook y moverte más antes de recurrir a esta página.

Horrible service. I’ve received no support from Flatio on the number of issues I’ve faced. I have dealt with aggressive communication from the landlord and no partial refund to reflect my experience. I am still waiting a response from Flatio after 4 days. Never again!!

I will not be recommending Flatio. After a host in Ericeira took a listing off-platform and refused to return approximately $1,300 of my money, the platform refused to provide the host's business name for reporting because its registered as a totally different business entity and instead threatened to remove my account. Following that with this second experience—where my privacy was invaded, documents were mishandled, and utilities were monitored—has made it clear that hotels are a much safer, more professional, and more competitive option for long-term stays.

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the current platform policies, which significantly favor tenants over hosts. In problematic situations, hosts are left with virtually no recourse or protection, creating a sense of insecurity for those of us providing the service.
Early cancellations are particularly disruptive, causing significant logistical issues regarding cleaning schedules and the organization of incoming guests. Furthermore, it is highly problematic that the platform does not facilitate or approve the billing of additional services (such as bicycle rentals, e-scooters, or other extra equipment). My business model is designed to offer a competitive base price for budget-conscious travelers while allowing those with a larger budget to pay for extra comfort. By not supporting the collection of fees for these add-ons, the platform is directly hindering my ability to provide a tailored service.
I urge the platform to reconsider its stance and establish a more balanced environment where the host's rights and operational costs are respected as much as the guest's experience.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with the host. Flatio was supposed to refund my entry fee because our case was quite exceptional, and they knew the host was in the wrong. We spoke with the legal office, and while they did assist us, they ultimately sided with the host — even though the host did several ILLEGAL things and treated us very badly. All we wanted was a refund for the unused nights.
The support service initially worked, but now that our contract has ended, the lawyer Pavlina has stopped responding to our emails — especially after we pointed out that the host entered the house without permission to clean a washing machine, something that was neither necessary nor urgent.
FLATIO STILL OWES US THE ENTRY FEE REFUND, AND WE HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.

I booked accommodation with Flatio, and it’s clearly the worst rental experience of my life. They violate their own terms and conditions, and their so-called “Move-in Guarantee” are nothing but a complete sham, in reality, they don’t even apply them.
In case of a serious issue (unsanitary or non-compliant accommodation), they do not find you any alternative housing, contrary to what they proudly advertise on their website. Even worse: the “up to 7 days of your new rent” refund is a joke, they don’t refund anything, even when you prove the breaches.
Customer service? A disaster. Their phone line is unreachable 4 times out of 5, responses are vague and useless, and there is no concrete action. And their insurance? Completely unreliable, they are incapable of answering the simplest question.
In short, it’s a platform to absolutely avoid. Behind the nice promises, there’s no follow-up, no real protection, and a completely overwhelmed customer service team. If you value your money and your peace of mind, stay away.

I’d rate your services a 2/10. I wouldn’t strongly recommend Flatio to friends due to some issues. The customer hotline is only available for 3 hours a day, which is too short, especially when urgent problems need quick resolution. I sent an email but didn’t get a reply, and communication was slow and unclear. I appreciate the platform’s concept, but please improve the hotline hours and response times for better support.

The rating is purely related to the way the host is treated. Electricity consumption should be removed from the contract. It is a term that significantly increases the price of the rent and makes it prohibitive for future bookings. At the same time, if a customer makes a booking, it is unfair to pay so much money if they are not going to spend so much electricity. In a few words and to make this understandable, if the customer comes in winter and the weather is bad, they will have a high consumption of electricity. The reason is that the heating is done with air conditioning. If the weather is mild and you don't use air conditioning, you would normally pay much less. Now you will pay much more, since the reservation price has been calculated at the maximum electricity consumption.

Flatio claims to be a platform that supports tenants—but when things went south, they were completely useless. I came to them expecting mediation and fairness, and instead got vague copy-paste responses, constant delays, and ultimately a shrug and “Sorry, can’t help.”
I was dealing with a hostile, uncooperative landlord who flat-out refused to fix problems or negotiate in good faith. Despite that, Flatio still expected me to follow the lease to the letter and pay for days I wasn’t even living there—even after I moved out and returned the keys. Their only offer of help was a partial service fee refund if I gave the landlord more money. Thanks for nothing.
Don’t be fooled by the promise of tenant support. Once you’ve paid, you’re on your own. Flatio protects their listings, not the people who live in them.
