The apartment I stayed in was absolutely wonderful. Comfortable, elegant, clean, perfect for several months (remote work) in an excellent location in Buda. Had all the amenities - newly-designed beautiful bathroom, original refurbished floors, high ceilings. Quiet neighborhood, close to transportation and shopping (Spar grocery stores, post office, salons, Buda var). Marta is a gracious, helpful, kind and informative landlord who is always responsive and provided detailed information about everything I needed (wifi, optional housekeeping) and promptly answered all my questions. I am staying on in Budapest for a longer time and only wish the apartment hadn't already been rented out for next spring, because I loved it and would happily continue staying here! It was perfect.

Excellent public transportation, close to shopping, walking bridge to Pest, quieter at night but close to Danube (view of Danube from apartment), peaceful, residential.
