We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is one of its biggest highlights—it's in a perfect neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and everything you might need within walking distance. It's also close to Lisbon's main tourist attractions, but far enough away that you can enjoy a quieter, more authentic atmosphere without the crowds.
The apartment itself was exactly as described, very comfortable, and everything worked perfectly throughout our stay.
Matilde was an exceptional host. Her communication was outstanding from beginning to end—always kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She made everything easy and ensured we had a great experience.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Lisbon!

I’m hesitant to write this…because I selfishly want to keep this place a secret, but Matilde deserves every bit of praise. This was hands down one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The space is calm, welcoming, and so thoughtfully maintained. The location was perfect — away from busy streets and areas but still very convenient. Matilde is kind, responsive, and genuinely warm. You can feel that she truly cares about her guests and wants us to feel at home, which I really appreciate. She even went out of her way to offer tips on where to explore in the city, which led me to some of my favourite Lisbon memories. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, don’t think twice. Just don’t book when I’m in Lisbon please as I consider this my Lisbon home. 🙏🏽🥹

I absolutely love the neighbourhood. Before I came to Lisbon, my friend who has been to Lisbon twice recommended booking somewhere closer to the city center. I am so glad I didn't listen to her because this location is perfect -- close to cafes, reasonably priced & quality restaurants (less touristy), and plenty of supermarkets just a few mins away. On top of that, it's close to the city center. You get best of both worlds: quiet home and convenience to explore if you feel like it. ◡̈

A Truly Wonderful Stay – Thanks to Matilde!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here! From the moment we arrived, Matilde went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. She is one of the warmest, most attentive hosts I’ve ever encountered—thoughtful, kind, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring her guests have the best experience possible.

The property's location is perfect—right in the heart of everything. Whether you want to explore historic sites, museums such as the Gulbenkian museum, which is barely a 5-minute walk, enjoy the vibrant local dining scene, or just take a leisurely stroll through charming streets, you’ll find it all just steps away.

The property itself is spotless—immaculately clean and clearly maintained with great care. Everything felt fresh and well-kept, from the linens to the bathroom. You can really tell cleanliness is a priority here, which added so much peace of mind to the stay.

Additionally, the surrounding area has everything one could possibly need. Cafés, bakeries, grocery stores, gyms and public transportation are all conveniently close. It made getting around and enjoying daily life incredibly easy.

All in all, this was a five-star experience, and Matilde was the heart of it. We would return in a heartbeat—and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, centrally-located place with an exceptional host.

Bairro
It is a busy daytime and quiet nighttime neighbourhood. Away from the main touristic areas though not too far away. A twenty-minute walk will get you to Avenida Da Liberdade. Parque Eduardo is barely a 10-minute walk, and El Corte Inglese is a 6-minute walk. In short, location is perfect.

Galetto for the perfect Prego Lombo. O Nobre for traditional Portuguese. Versaille is a beautiful cafe (some grumpy waiters though :) with a lot on offer. Gojuu and Sushi Saito for great sushi. Provincia and Scusa for good Italian & pizza. One is spoilt fr choice

Me and my wife stayed at this apartment a bit more than 1 month. That was a super great stay. Apartment is new and very clean. We had a very pleasant time here. Also the district is very calm and close to everything you need. Matilde (host) provided the best experience for us and was very friendly and responsive. I definitely recommend this place as one of the best. You will like it 100%.
