Hi, I'm Carlos, a Porto local who has lived here all my life. I work in healthcare in Porto and nearby cities, and I started hosting guests less than a year ago.
I’m always happy to share recommendations on places to visit, where to eat, or how to enjoy Porto like a local.

Carlos was a great host. Very accommodating and responsive. The property provided everything we needed while looking for a long term rental. The yard was especially helpful as we have dogs.
Bairro
The neighborhood is generally pretty quiet. There are a few cafes and restaurants nearby but there is close access to the metro and getting into the heart of Porto is easy and convenient.

There is a cute cafe that serves waffles called Mi Time Lounge. Catching the train at the Ramalde stop gives you access to the entire city. We like to take the train to Mercado do Bolhão to enjoy fresh seafood and outdoor shopping.
