Hi, I'm Pedro Pereira, and on behalf of my family, ***** is a family project, born from a love for Terras de Basto and a wish to share the very best the region has to offer.

We have deep roots here — this was our family home, set in one of the most privileged spots in the area, but it had stood abandoned for over twenty years. Restoring it was a labour of love, and we're especially proud of having used Portuguese materials and craftsmanship ***** we live locally, you're never on your own.

A family member welcomes you in person at check-in, and we're always close by to answer questions or sort out anything you need. A trusted local cleaning and maintenance team looks after the house. We speak Portuguese, English and ***** us anything about the area — we love pointing guests to our favourite places: the Senhora da Graça sanctuary, the Fisgas de Ermelo waterfalls, the Serra do Marão, and a great restaurant just a short walk away.

The village of Celorico is 7 minutes by car, supermarkets 10, and both Porto and Braga around 45 minutes. A car is essential here — it's what lets you make the most of the region.

Best time to visit? Sunshine from March to September, and even a touch of snow in December and January.
