A secret corner in the shadow of the Anaga Massif and on the shore of the immense Atlantic Ocean. This accommodation is an 'Oasis' by the sea, a haven of calm, untamed and wild, for those who want to get lost somewhere between the lush green of the mountains and the eternal blue of the sea. From its doorstep, trails start to get lost in nature and natural pools and black sand beaches are reached only known by locals or those looking for a different experience.
This Oasis is a small house located in a lost hamlet, in the Taganana area. It is a haven of peace, lulled by the murmur of the waves, and only interrupted by the occasional sound of seabirds. It is located a few meters from the sea and at the foot of the Anaga Massif, Natural Park.
The Oasis is calm for all types of guests: for those who love nature, practically from the accommodation, trails start that go into the Anaga Massif, an authentic prehistoric jewel. For lovers of the sea, a few meters away are some small natural pools and the exotic black sand beach of Tachero, which at certain times of the year presents a sand bank that goes up to 100 meters into the sea.
The decoration of the house combines the most Canarian rustic style with some very selected elements of modernity and comfort. It is divided into three usable floors: accessing from the bottom you reach the cozy and bright living room-kitchen with a sofa bed. It's a nice seating area to have a small snack while food is prepared in their rustic-looking (albeit renovated) kitchen. The kitchen, with its handmade wooden cupboard, has a microwave and all the necessary utensils for the stay.
If we take the stairs, we access the second floor, where the bedroom is located, spacious and bright, from which there is access to a small balcony where you can glimpse the immense sea and the mountains. The bed in the bedroom is a double bed, with the possibility of electronically reclining and separating into two single beds, if the guests so wish. Also, the room has a television for those guests who wish to use it. On that same floor, we find the recently renovated bathroom with a shower tray. On the top floor, we find the best part of this Oasis, its center: the terrace-roof partially covered by a porch (during the sunniest hours) and from which you can see the immense Atlantic Ocean and the Anaga mountains. It is an unbeatable place to soak up the first rays of sun with breakfast or spend the late afternoon and early evening with a good bottle of Malvasia wine from the island.
The accommodation is located in the Taganana area but in a remote hamlet, which is even unknown to many locals. It is accessed through a road that goes down the hill of the Macizo de Anaga to the shore of the beach. Several hiking trails start from the farmhouse that get lost in nature along the coast and up the mountains, for those seeking adventure. In addition, in front of the farmhouse there are numerous practically private bathing areas, such as puddles that are created with the tides and a virgin sandy or pebble beach, also depending on the tides and the time of year. The location in this virgin and secluded area is the magic of this Oasis. Very few know it. Using the car you can also reach the best hiking trails on the island that start from other points of the Anaga Massif, one of the last redoubts of Laurissilva in the world. The Laurissilva is a type of exuberant and prehistoric vegetation that is only preserved on some islands of Macaronesia (Canary Islands and Azores). A few kilometers away by car we also find some of the best beaches on the island, those preferred by the locals and with exotic black sand: Roque de las Bodegas, Almáciga and Benijo.
The best way to access the accommodation is by car. Being in a protected area in the middle of nature and in the middle of hiking trails, the farmhouse is accessed through a narrow dirt road that descends to the sea, so it is recommended to arrive at the accommodation while there is still daylight. There are parking areas in the hamlet, although at certain times of the year and at certain hours it may cost a little more because one of the few inhabitants of the hamlet is there at that time.
Um recanto secreto à sombra do Maciço de Anaga e à beira do imenso Oceano Atlântico. Este alojamento é um "Oásis" à beira-mar, um refúgio de calma, indomável e selvagem, para quem se quer perder algures entre o verde luxuriante das montanhas e o azul eterno do mar. A partir da sua porta, os trilhos começam a perder-se na natureza e as piscinas naturais e praias de areia preta são alcançadas apenas pelos locais ou por quem procura uma experiência diferente.
Este Oásis é uma pequena casa situada numa aldeia perdida, na zona de Taganana. É um refúgio de paz, embalado pelo murmúrio das ondas, e apenas interrompido pelo som ocasional de aves marinhas. Situa-se a poucos metros do mar e no sopé do Maciço de Anaga, Parque Natural.
O Oásis é calmo para todos os tipos de hóspedes: para os amantes da natureza, praticamente a partir do alojamento, iniciam-se os trilhos que vão até ao Maciço de Anaga, uma autêntica joia pré-histórica. Para os amantes do mar, a poucos metros encontram-se algumas pequenas piscinas naturais e a exótica praia de areia preta do Tachero, que em certas alturas do ano apresenta um banco de areia que chega a atingir 100 metros de profundidade.
A decoração da casa combina o estilo mais rústico das Canárias com alguns elementos muito seleccionados de modernidade e conforto. Está dividida em três pisos utilizáveis: acedendo pelo fundo, chega-se à acolhedora e luminosa sala de estar-cozinha com um sofá-cama. É uma área de estar agradável para tomar um pequeno lanche enquanto a comida é preparada na cozinha de aspeto rústico (embora renovada). A cozinha, com o seu armário de madeira feito à mão, tem um micro-ondas e todos os utensílios necessários para a estadia.
Se subirmos as escadas, acedemos ao segundo andar, onde se situa o quarto, espaçoso e luminoso, de onde se tem acesso a uma pequena varanda onde se vislumbra o imenso mar e a serra. A cama do quarto é uma cama de casal, com possibilidade de reclinar eletronicamente e separar em duas camas individuais, se os hóspedes assim o desejarem. O quarto dispõe ainda de uma televisão para os hóspedes que a desejem utilizar. Nesse mesmo piso, encontramos a casa de banho, recentemente renovada, com base de duche. No último andar, encontramos a melhor parte deste Oásis, o seu centro: o terraço-cobertura parcialmente coberto por um alpendre (nas horas de maior sol) e de onde se avista o imenso Oceano Atlântico e a Serra de Anaga. É um lugar imbatível para tomar os primeiros raios de sol com o pequeno-almoço ou passar o fim da tarde e o início da noite com uma boa garrafa de vinho Malvasia da ilha.
O alojamento está localizado na zona de Taganana, mas numa aldeia remota, que é mesmo desconhecida para muitos habitantes locais. O acesso é feito através de uma estrada que desce a colina do Maciço de Anaga até à costa da praia. Da casa da quinta partem vários trilhos para caminhadas que se perdem na natureza ao longo da costa e até às montanhas, para quem procura aventura. Além disso, em frente à quinta existem numerosas zonas balneares praticamente privadas, como as poças que se criam com as marés e uma praia virgem de areia ou de calhau, também dependendo das marés e da época do ano. A localização nesta zona virgem e isolada é a magia deste Oásis. Muito poucos o conhecem. Utilizando o carro também se pode chegar aos melhores trilhos pedestres da ilha que partem de outros pontos do Maciço de Anaga, um dos últimos redutos de Laurissilva do mundo. A Laurissilva é um tipo de vegetação exuberante e pré-histórica que só se conserva em algumas ilhas da Macaronésia (Canárias e Açores). A poucos quilómetros de carro encontramos também algumas das melhores praias da ilha, as preferidas pelos locais e com uma exótica areia negra: Roque de las Bodegas, Almáciga e Benijo.
A melhor forma de aceder ao alojamento é de carro. Situada numa área protegida no meio da natureza e no meio de trilhos pedestres, a quinta é acedida através de uma estrada de terra estreita que desce até ao mar, pelo que se recomenda chegar ao alojamento enquanto ainda há luz do dia. Existem zonas de estacionamento na aldeia, embora em certas alturas do ano e a certas horas possa custar um pouco mais porque um dos poucos habitantes da aldeia está lá nessa altura.
