This spacious double room themed around Philosophy is perfect to feel like if you were at home in the heart of Italy. The comfy double bed will allow for a good rest and you’ll enjoy your private bathroom with shower right outside of the room. Inside the room, you find all you need to settle and feel at home: wardrobe, desk to work in peace, TV, mini fridge and even a thematic library on philosophy to deepen your interests! Bonus? The private terrace offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Sila.

The garden, amazing pool and large terrace offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside. You also get access to their new coworking space in the city. Top-notch sitting, great wifi, white board and more!
Saturdays and Sundays for lunch, let yourself be seduced by the delicious Calabrian dishes cooked and revisited by the owner Roberto with products from the garden. You won’t be disappointed!

Flora and fauna
Calabria is still an unspoilt region with uncontaminated land. It has mountains, three national parks (Aspromonte, Pollino, and Sila), 500 miles of coastline, turquoise waters, and rolling, green hills lined with olive, orange, and lemon trees. 90% of the area is mountainous, so there is no wonder that you can find some incredible flora and fauna, especially in three of its most beautiful Protected National Parks, the Aspromonte, Sila and Pollino. There are well marked trails which lead you deep into the forests and woodland where you may be lucky to see some interesting wildlife such as red deer, roe deer, wolves, squirrels, the Corsican hare, owls and Peregrine falcons.
There are 40 bird species and 5 different types of owls as well as the Peregrine falcons. Some of these birds include: raptors, buzzards, eagles and storks which you can see in the Aspromonte park close to Reggio Calabria. Spring and Autumn is a good time to see the flamingos in the wetland of Saline Joniche.
Social ecosystem
Any wish can be fulfilled in Calabria. Those who love nature, its scents and mysteries, can explore the Calabrian hinterland, discovering pure and unpolluted sceneries, where huge green belts alternate with blue lakes and waterfalls. On the other hand those who prefer to learn about the region's past, Calabria, the cradle of Magna Graecia and land of ancient settlements, is full of splendid churches, monasteries, castles, palaces and towns where age-old traditions still survive.
The property is located in the short distance from the historic center of Montalto Uffugo - a Calabrian village. You can find there another coworking place run by accommodation.
Other cities worth visiting are Cosenza (around 28 km away) and Diamante (around 75 km away). In Amantea, located around (around 60 km/ 1h drive away), there's a hub of digital nomads interested in architecture.

Flora e fauna
A Calábria continua a ser uma região intacta, com terras não contaminadas. Tem montanhas, três parques nacionais (Aspromonte, Pollino e Sila), 500 quilómetros de costa, águas azul-turquesa e colinas verdejantes ladeadas de oliveiras, laranjeiras e limoeiros. 90% da área é montanhosa, por isso não é de admirar que possa encontrar uma flora e fauna incríveis, especialmente em três dos seus mais belos Parques Nacionais Protegidos, o Aspromonte, o Sila e o Pollino. Há trilhos bem marcados que nos levam às profundezas das florestas e bosques, onde podemos ter a sorte de ver alguns animais selvagens interessantes, como veados, corços, lobos, esquilos, a lebre da Córsega, corujas e falcões peregrinos.
Existem 40 espécies de aves e 5 tipos diferentes de corujas, para além dos falcões-peregrinos. Algumas destas aves são: as aves de rapina, os abutres, as águias e as cegonhas, que se podem ver no parque de Aspromonte, perto de Reggio Calabria. A Primavera e o Outono são uma boa altura para ver os flamingos na zona húmida de Saline Joniche.
Ecossistema social
Qualquer desejo pode ser realizado na Calábria. Quem ama a natureza, os seus aromas e mistérios, pode explorar o interior da Calábria, descobrindo paisagens puras e não poluídas, onde enormes cinturas verdes alternam com lagos azuis e cascatas. Por outro lado, aqueles que preferem conhecer o passado da região, a Calábria, berço da Magna Grécia e terra de antigas povoações, está repleta de esplêndidas igrejas, mosteiros, castelos, palácios e cidades onde ainda sobrevivem tradições seculares.
A propriedade está localizada a uma curta distância do centro histórico de Montalto Uffugo - uma aldeia da Calábria. Pode encontrar aí outro local de coworking gerido por alojamento.
